Casey Filips as Leonard in FAST FOOD at Red Stitch.

Casey is currently recently performing as a lead in FAST FOOD, a satirical comedy-drama by internationally published Melbourne playwright, Morgan Rose

Enjoying a successful world premiering at the Red Stitch Actors' Theatre as part of the company's critically acclaimed INK program, the show was described as...

"Fast Food details a typical day in the life at a restaurant chain franchise. What starts as nothing out of the ordinary, quickly grabs hold of our collective attention. Set in real time, Rose’s play packs a great deal of punch into this single act, existential drama. ****" - Theatre People.

Comments on Casey's performance include...

"Casey Filips is perhaps most attune to the rhythms of Rose’s style of dialogue, moving between deadpan delivery and calm empathy with splashes of absurdism in between."

Australian Arts Review

"Performance-wise, Casey Filips stood out for me as the cheerless Leonard."
